AutoVision Wireless Inc. provides web based fleet management solutions to 15,000 plus vehicles across Canada for the Bell Group of Companies as well as for customers in other vertical market segments. Our goal is fleet management excellence by providing telematics and software solutions using in-house developed management systems. Our Fleet management services include Automatic Vehicle Location using cellular and satellite networks; real-time remote vehicle diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance software.
Account Executive
Title: Account Executive (2 positions)
Location: North East U.S.A. (preferably New York State) , West U.S.A (preferably California)
Reports to: Director, Sales and Marketing
Job Objective:
The candidate will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to the completion of the sale, in an assigned territory. He/she will ensure the achievement of maximum profitability and revenue growth in line with the company’s vision and values. The candidate will also implement the company’s marketing plan and will work with the sales team to achieve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales of all the company’s products and services in the assigned territory.
- Generates leads to maintain the sales funnel at the desired level through referrals, cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Conduct presentations to customers in person and over the phone or internet.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all requests for quotations/proposals, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and request for proposal responses.
- Identifies Advertising and Marketing opportunities in the assigned territories.
- Meets and/or exceeds quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develops and maintain an effective Dealer Network.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records on the company’s Customer Relationship Module of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have own transportation and be willing to travel in North America.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both business and engineering personnel.
- Has a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently from their home office.
- Is detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- A degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in sales management in a related industry
- A proven ability to achieve sales quotas
- Experienced with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Base + commission. (Contract position)
