The Next Generation of Telematics

AV2000 is our 5th Generation of Telematics Product, based on 10 years of experience and thousands of units deployed in the field. The AV2000 goes far beyond the basic Telematics requirements and provides a truly versatile solution to Fleet Managers with a reliable, rugged and easy to install unit.

AV2000 is designed specially to interface with construction vehicles, salt spreaders and snow removal trucks to monitor PTO activity and rate of salt spreading or snow removal. It operates over a wide voltage range that makes it compatible with heavy equipment vehicles.

AV2000 is fully integrated with AutoVision®, AWI’s leading edge web based fleet management software to give up to date GPS coordinates for location over Microsoft’s Virtual Earth, geo-fencing for route adherence, and Reports for monitoring and billing.  AutoVision also provides user configurable graphical reports.

The AV2000 can be upgraded to the AV3000 with the addition of an OBDII harness and software that is downloadable for full engine monitoring.

The AV2000 is designed and built in Canada. It has built-in Interfaces for:
Garmin GPS to download directions
Bosch Rexroth for salt & sand spreading

The AV2000 uses GPS data to generate reports on Idling, fleet utilization, after-hours usage, and Stop & Start data:

Idling
Get insight into your driver’s idling habits on a monthly, daily or trip basis. Compare your drivers’ performance in terms of total idling and idling as percentage of engine run time.

Fleet Utilization
Optimize your Fleet size with real time Fleet Utilization data. See how many vehicles were utilized and at what time. Find out the most utilized vehicles in your Fleet.

After Hours Usage
Minimize vehicle and fuel misuse with detailed after hours fleet usage reports.

Stop & Start
Get first hand information on productivity. Look at each trip start and end point location and time.
